Guy should be a used car salesman.

Reminds me of just some dude who thinks he's suppose to be a stud... finds out that the hottie he was drooling over, the one who was leading him on, decided to date one of his peers instead, then now he butt hurt

What else is he supposed to say? He's a Patriot now so his allegiance is to them and rightfully so.

Just like every team after the first pick always says "we got the guy we always wanted" although there's no way that is true for each team. Its mathematically impossible for everyone to get the #1 guy on their board.
It makes him sound petty. Most guys would have said, "I look to have a career where they'll regret not taking me." Instead he went with, "You can't dump me cause I was never into you." I've never been sold on his maturity, and this just adds to it.

Players are always saying things like that after they get drafted, especially if they fall. Also this kid grew up during the Patriot dynasty, maybe he actually means it

He either was truthful, preferring to go to the Patriots even though we presented a more opportune situation for him (more talented roster, much bigger contract, top three pick). Or he's lying. Either way, I feel better about him not being the pick.
can somebody lock this thread and throw away the key
I hope this kid has a great career. He gets hated on for no reason

Curious how he'll look when he doesn't have 2 WR's on the field who consistently get 5 yards of separation or are ready to moss 2 defenders on underthrows.
Pat's are bad at evaluating talent 1 pro bowler drafted by them since 2015 and it was their punter

Dude built his game around Tom Brady, grew up during their dynasty, went to Bama to play for championships...even if it meant sitting on the bench.

Yeah safe to say he could be a pats fan.
Of course he didn't want to be here. It would of been a sh show if we passed on him for superior prospects. You don't think He saw that. He went 15th to a squad that's had a ton of success with guys of his mold. He's Cassel though not Brady so good luck to them.

I´m happy for him. He´s a good fit for the Patriots.
I would have been intrigued to see him in New Orleans too.
Perfect fit for MAC. I know I'd rather go 15 to the Patriots than 11 to the Bears.

Ya great team to maximize what talent he does have, great for a few steps in the pocket, but that arm😬. He won't be a Brady, his arm isn't nearly strong enough to threaten the entire field. His receivers are gonna get killed having to slow and turn around for his passes.
