Possibly. Unless Lance turns out to be a bust and Fields or Jones turn out to be stars, then they'll be the threads of rage.

Of course if that came to pass then this entire forum would meltdown. It'd be a "let's pay for a stadium flyover demanding that Kyle gets fired" kind of deal.

If we took Mac the comparisons would never end but since we took Lance I think this will die down. Besides the people laughing at Mac should he flop.

Are you kidding me? You had people losing their minds when Mike Davis went to Seattle and had a few decent games. Its an absolutely certainty that you'll have overreactions if Fields or Jones go out and play well early on.

Lance went to the best team of any of the to 5 QBs. That gives him the best chance for success. Jones is going to a team that doesn't have a lot of offensive playmakers and has to face the Jets with Wilson, the Bills and an improved Miami team twice a year.

Lance will be facing tougher teams twice a year but he also has far better talent and a really good play designer.

Going to a Belichick and McDaniels coached team isn't a terrible consolation prize. New England has a strong defense, very good OL, decent run game, upgraded their offense with the tight ends and receivers they signed. Of the five QB's drafted in the first, its easily one of the two best situations for a young QB to go into.

I think you could argue reasonably that Lawrence is going into the worst situation overall and there's going to be a ton expected from him on virtue of being the #1 pick and this generational sort of QB prospect.

This whole thing was nuts. Major kudos to ShanaLynch when even the owner and coaches all thought the pick was Mac Jones. Absolutely nuts.

Breer asked Lynch if even York thought the pick might be Jones.

"I think he did. I think he did," Lynch responded while laughing.

lmao he went from Devonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle with an elite OL to Kendrick Bourne and Nelson Agholor. I can't wait to see him getting destroyed by the Phins and Bills. Oh and Saleh feast on these statue QBs as well
