Tampa defense did just fine against Mahomes without a Ravens 2000 level defense. These "super QBs" get stopped the same way that regular QBs do, by smashing them into the turf.

That a complete team with physically ordinary QBs can beat even the "Super QBs." Belichick was running defenses that were giving Bill Walsh trouble in the 80s and he's only gotten better since. If he can build a high end defense again in New England, he won't need a "Super QB" for his teams to be successful.

More like the defense that shut down the Rams in the SB twice. Nobody is perfect but there's no one better defensively than Belichick when he has all his pieces.

Couldnt agree more. One super qb has won the superbowl, and that was only because the refs took away our biggest strength.

It's still a team game that's won in the trenches with a qb that can dissect a defense
