Mac Jones-QB-Jaguars

Mac Jones having himself another good game. So far, He looks like he belongs. Poise, accuracy, going through progressions, some beautiful deep throws, and a total command of the offense. Just wow.

Not even impressed, he missed two throws at his Pro Day.

Looks like a solid game manager so far, against backups. So far so good.
Hahahahah we could've had this and all of our picks.
His pocket manipulation at this age is what the greats have. Evading rushers without ever taking his eyes from downfield. There are a looooot of people bout to look ignorant in this thread.

Tom Brady started off as a game manager. So not exactly the worst place to start.
Meh

We'll see in two years but right now Mac is definitely looking better than Lance. The pocket presence and accuracy look much better. Looks like he has good arm strength compared to what people were saying.

If somehow Lance cannot develop these traits, then I can see someone getting canned in two years. It will be such a huge mistake to miss on Lance because it will set us back years.

Uh, I hope not lol.

Correct.
And the "lack of arm strength" and upside talk came from people who don't necessarily know the game as much as they think they do. Those folks are usually enamored by loud tools such as a big arm and rubbing ability. The truth is that those are positives, but if you want to be great you have to be elite from the pocket. That's where the vast majority of your action is at

When Pats drafted him I thought that was the perfect system for him. We are the better team right now but the Patriots offensive system fits Mac perfectly.

So let's see if he can be "elite" from the pocket in the NFL. Haven't seen that yet. Considering his options at the skill positions I'm not so sure yet.
