He was our most s**t down guy even with offenses evolving. Not a playmaker like some of them but a true lockdown from the moment he stepped on campus.
Humphrey was great as was Milliner. Milliner pulled a Foster/Rolo McClain/ and Trent Richardson and got caught up in other stuff outside of football. It's insane Saban kept mainly McClain and Foster not only on campus but all Americans.

Not sure but pff grades every play not just the plays in which you were targeted.

All it takes is for him to have a bad week 1 and this stuff he did in the pre-season vs 2nd and 3rd stringers will be forgotten. The conversation will turn to "Well look how he did when faced with 1st stringers and coaches gameplanning" It's a what have you done for me lately sport. This is going to go back and forth with all rookie QB's.

i wanted him at 12 i thought he was the only blue chip CB prospect in the draft

Haha. Mac had to put his entire BEING into that 12 yard pass. He almost corkscrewed himself into the turf.

1st throw - no pressure, almost picked
2nd throw - no pressure, WR has to go down to catch
3rd throw - screen pass
4th throw - no pressure, 6 yd dump off
5th throw - no pressure, 6 yd pass that receiver has to lay out for
Next play - scrambles for a few yards and makes one of the worst qb slides I've seen
6th throw - screen
7th throw - 2pt conversion, good throw should have probably been caught
8th throw - no pressure, perfect deep pass, dropped
9th throw - 5 yd dumpoff
10th throw - 5 yd pass
11th throw - no pressure, 17 yd pass
12th throw - no pressure, 2 yd dump off
13th throw - no pressure, 1 yd dump off
14th throw - has pressure, steps up, 12 yd pass
15th throw - no pressure, 2 yd dump off
16th throw - no pressure, 11 yd pass that sinks and wr has to fall down to catch
17th throw - no pressure, 5 yd pass, incomplete
18th throw - no pressure, 7 yd pass
19th throw - no pressure, 2 yd pass to goalline, dropped

You take 20 drop backs and get pressured on two, yet still make mostly 6 yds and under throws. Anybody would look good.

Not sure if it's Covid or Cams indifference to their local rules. Cam lives in his own world. In the meantime Mac could pass him up and all the zone naysayers will say we should have stayed with our original pick and drafted him there.
