5th throw - no pressure, 6 yd pass that receiver has to lay out for
Next play - scrambles for a few yards and makes one of the worst qb slides I've seen
6th throw - screen
7th throw - 2pt conversion, good throw should have probably been caught
8th throw - no pressure, perfect deep pass, dropped
9th throw - 5 yd dumpoff
10th throw - 5 yd pass
11th throw - no pressure, 17 yd pass
12th throw - no pressure, 2 yd dump off
13th throw - no pressure, 1 yd dump off
14th throw - has pressure, steps up, 12 yd pass
15th throw - no pressure, 2 yd dump off
16th throw - no pressure, 11 yd pass that sinks and wr has to fall down to catch
17th throw - no pressure, 5 yd pass, incomplete
18th throw - no pressure, 7 yd pass
19th throw - no pressure, 2 yd pass to goalline, dropped

You take 20 drop backs and get pressured on two, yet still make mostly 6 yds and under throws. Anybody would look good.

Benter than
no pressure holds on to the ball sacked
No pressure throw the ball 150 MPH high and behind picked
Pressure sacked
Pressure sacked
No pressure throw the ball 150 MPH high and behind dropped
No pressure 50 yard pass.

Jones also had a higher Y/A than Lance in week 2. Just saying

Vs the Giants.
35-40. 18 straight at one point. 3 total TDS I believe.

Practice. We talking about practice.

👀 Look at that movement in the pocket tho

Haha. Mac had to put his entire BEING into that 12 yard pass. He almost corkscrewed himself into the turf.

His arm almost came off with that throw .
Newton's bungling of the rules for unvaccinated players has given Jones a chance to step into the fray for joint practices with the Giants. Via Jeff Howe of TheAthletic.com, Jones had completed 21 of 23 passes against the starting New York defense, with 14 straight completions. He eventually ran the streak to 18, before an incompletion came after the ball was tipped at the line of scrimmage.

The Giants just played a game on Sunday. The Patriots had nearly a week since they played.

If Lance went 35-40 with 3 TDs in practices against the Chargers last week, people around here would have been busting massive loads.

Jones has a golden opportunity thanks to Cam shooting himself in the foot because he didn't want to take a shot in the arm. If he keeps up this level of performance, he could very well be the Patriots Week 1 starter.

As he should be. It's not hard to beat out a trash QB like Cam "shot put" Newton.

Yeah, the same team BDN diced up last season too.

Cam is out. I think Mac just won the starting job. I don't know how they don't start Mac with how he has looked.
I was never on the Mac train predraft. Still would not want him as a 49er. Regardless of that, he seems like he will be very good for the Patriots. The five young guns from this draft (Lawrence/Wilson/Lance/Fields/Jones) may all end up as good to great players for their respective teams. This is great for the league and those fanbases. I do not get all the vitriol thrown around about Mac or any of the other guys, and I wish them all well. Obviously, hope that our guy will turn out as the best of the bunch or at least win the most Super Bowls of this group.

Your choice of terms and presentation suggests a less-than-objective POV.

FWIW, the Giants were a better team than their record last season.
why must people s**t on another person jsut to prove that their original thought was right?

just let the kid play and grow. Mac looks better today that was everyone consensus compared to a guy who didnt even throw 250 passes in college and is a few years younger

Everyone thought Trey was on of the most raw but physically gifted and intelligent in the class
