Apparently Jones is balling out in the joint practices they are holding this week. I'm still convinced that Lance will have the bigger impact long term because of his athleticism and big arm, but Jones is starting to impress. This could be looked upon as one of the best QB draft's in history if they all continue to develop.

Just leaving Pats/Giants joint practice, big takeaway for me—Mac Jones took a LOT more reps in 11-on-11 than Cam Newton. Some good. Some bad.

Yesterday, he was nails. Difference today? The Giants pressured him, which made him look more like a rookie.
so take away a clean pocket and the results aren't as great

Who could have ever predicted that based on his college tape?

I like how he leaves out that Mac got significantly more reps because Cam drove the offense down in 8 plays and it took Mac 20 plays to get a score.

Dont'a Hightower said he recently found out Mac Jones has been studying the Patriots' defensive plays on his own to better prepare himself. Said that's something "not a lot of young guys would do."

So, more like what I expected than the media's portrayal from earlier in the week.
