Totally fair take. I have no problem if he becomes a top QB. Good for him as long as it's not against the 9ers. I don't see it happening but can obviously be wrong.

49er fans should not be rooting for Lance to fail to prop up Mac Jones however.

completely disagree. If any of these other QB prospects succeed that makes their teams more likely to win games and increases their chance of beating us at some point lowering our SB chances. Therefore, I hope all of the other QBs outside of Lance fail miserably to increase our team's chances of winning.

I'm a diehard 49er fan that cares more and more every year only about 49ers and less about NFL. Crazy that a forum dedicated to 49ers has so many casual fans that care more about the NFL succeeding (its the top sport in US that won't change if few QB rookies suck LMFAO) than the 49ers.

Again, regardless of who is tweeting, it says "according to league sources". The only "league sources" who knew who we were picking were Shanny and Lynch. Shanny and Lynch were NOT talking to Schefty or anyone else.
