Came down to fumbles by RB. But I agree, Mac had some inaccurate throws towards the end. However, if the RB doesn't fumble, I think they wrap up the game with a FG.

Overall, Mac had a good game for his first outing. Definitely didn't get slapped back to reality as one suggested.

Its one game and he put up 16 points. Lots of good things but there is a reason he was the 5th QB taken. He accurate and won't turn the ball over but he's also not going to take over a game or light it up. So long as the pats D balls out and can keep it low scoring he will be fine

102.6 QB rating with zero turnovers completing nearly 75% of his passes is a success for a first game rookie. His RB's lost two fumbles and that combined with all the penalties cost them the game IMO.

He's a rookie man. Idk why some expect rookies to come in and light the league on fire.
Where is BamaNiner?

Someone contact suicide watch,....he's been missing since the 4th and I'm concerned.

I don't know what more want. Lol dolphins have a good defense. It's a divisional battle. It's ridiculous. I need to avoid this thread lol

This was always the expectation for Mac since people wanted to replace Jimmy with him. Thought that was the idea at #12 back in January.

He had a good game. Two RBs fumbled the ball. one was costly in a tough divisional battle lol

And yet you keep posting here...
74.4 % completion, 281 yds, 7.2 YPA, 1 Td, 0 Int, 102.4 QB rating

Not bad for a rookie in a tough divisional game.

Mac is gonna be what we thought he would be. An excellent game managing QB that if you are to put an excellent team around him you can win with him year after year BUT a playmaker or a superstar is not what he was expected to be which is why there were some of us perfectly fine taking Mac at 12 but not at 3 for what was given up. When we gave up that draft haul we are expecting nothing less than a future superstar under center

I think in time Mac can be a future pro bowler and a perennial franchise QB but a superstar is not the ceiling I saw but hopefully for him like Brady he can prove me and a lot of other folk wrong

This is excellent considering the circumstances

Why would it hurt my feelings? Weird comment to make.

Then why do you care if I continue to post after my comment, other than hurt feelings. I said "I need to" not " I will". Got it? Too much stupidity being posted to not comment including yours lol

I never wanted Mac at 3. I thought he should be considered at 12 before the trade though. People discounted him because his limitations. I thought he excelled at other areas that would compensate for those limitations.

I think posters are are just insecure about Trey that they feel the need to lash out on Mac. They are on different paths to start their careers as expected (by some I guess).
