I wouldn't have been against that either (even at the time). We don't know who we would've picked in that scenario bc they probably would've gotten banks regardless. Banks we will see, ambry Thomas looks lost compared to Lenoir so I don't know.

I think he reads the field pretty well, gets the ball out quick and is an accurate thrower. Just like in College.

Mac was pretty bad on 3rd down yesterday. 3 for 8, 14 yards, 2 1st downs, 3 sacks, intentional grounding.

I expected better vs a pretty poor Jets secondary.

No context needed when judging other quarterbacks, but needed when judging yours? Right, gotcha.

Pressure my ass. I just watched all 22 of his completions and he had pressure on 2 or 3 at the most (unless you count screens). So unless all 8 of his incompletions came while under pressure, that 'context' is b******t.

you can take stats out of context all you want and bring up QBs who aren't part of this discussion

Alex Smith had a career Y/A of 6.9

I was a fan of Mac Jones with our original pick but I know what his flaws are

With a complete team Mac Jones will be legit. If you need the QB to win the game a good defense can stop him
