12 of his 23 passes were thrown at or behind the LOS, so you may have been watching only half his throws.

Aside from the 2nd drive of the game, he threw at least two screens on every possession.

Rookie of the Year if you ask me. I mean it's not like he's gaining most of his pass yards playing catch up or padding his stats in blowout losses like Justin Herbert did in his rookie year.

The knocks on him regarding the Patriots W-L record have gone silent, so now people have to bash him for running the offense at a high level because it isn't and never has been a Bruce Arians chuck and duck style offense.

Jamarr Chase has my vote and that's not a knock on Mac Jones. Mac Jones has been doing a phenomenal job as a rookie QB. I still think Fields will develop into a better QB but at this current time and place Jones is looking great. Easily in the top 15 of QBs in the league.

Hoyer comes in and runs it at the exact same level, but sure, Mac is gonna be a top-10 QB.
