They could win the superbowl and people would still hate on him. Pathetic denial. So the f**k what if he throws what the defense gives him. When he needs to,, he actually CAN make the throws that alot of you said he couldn't. So take the analytics and shove it. He just beat down a team that demolished the great Joe Burrow.

lol yeah I guess so....I watched that whole game
Props to you for coming back in this thread. A lesser person might feel some shame after your posts in here leading up to the draft. Guess that saying works "if you're gonna be dumb you gotta be tough"

Patirots are running the same offense they've run for decades and people are just looking for any reason to nitpick Jones. He's been an outstanding for a rookie passer and they appear to be doing everything possible to develop him the right way.
"Rookie QB guilty of running his team's offense at a high level" isn't quite the flex some believe it to be.
who's calling it a flex? it's simply stating what he's doing....
Hoyer comes in and runs it at the exact same level, but sure, Mac is gonna be a top-10 QB.
lol right? Browns D looked lost yesterday, game got out of hand and here we are pretending Mac is some high flying QB. I watched that whole damn game. He was a great game manager and did what he was asked, s**t always looks better where everything is going your way in all facets of the game. It's why people thought Jimmy was the man after 2019.

Yep. Being able to be methodical and consistent wins championships. It keeps the other teams offense off the field and can make an average defense great.

He has yet to consistently make any throws that most said he couldn't, but nice try.

I posted in here yesterday during the game that he played well. What he has done isn't some shocking thing....he's a great game manager who needs to rely on everything above the neck to be successful....that in no way makes him some elite stud who is gonna be a top 5 QB in the league.
I will always take upside and what a guy could be over a high floor low ceiling guy....if I'm wrong for that whatever. I don't want kirk cousins or Jimmy G. I want Josh Allen type players in the top 3.
I have zero shame in not wanting this kid. Still wouldn't pick him over all 4 of the other QBs.

It's weird seeing a handful of men so infatuated with a mediocre quarterback. For one, he's not our quarterback, and secondly, he hasn't played that well. It's truly odd... I understand Bama49er and his homerism... obnoxious as he is, that's what Alabama fans do.

Until 100 percent of his throws are 20 yards miminimum air yards, and completely on target, he f**king sucks.

I count 9 passes completed after the LOS to 10 yards.

no, but championing a guy that throws half his balls near the LOS is a bit funny....it's almost like you loved a certain QB with a better jawline.

You know why? Because this is again Shanahan f**king up and picking the wrong qb. I can guarantee you that the evil emperor would take Mac jones over Trey Lance today 10 out of 10 times.

13 of his passing attempts were within 5 yards
He didn't have to do anything more than that, once the Browns stopped running the ball and made Baker and one arm a passer it was done.
Not sure why people thought the Pats roster was gonna be bad this yr....that got back a ton of guys that opted out from covid in 2020 and spent like $200M on FAs.

And 9 completed at or behind it. Plus three more that weren't completed.

Dude you have no f**king clue on Lance and you have no clue what Bill would have taken. There was a report that they wanted Jimmy before drafting Jones, so even they weren't all in on him.
YOU YOUR SELF said Lance should sit a yr....and yet here you are b***hing about him. You can't have it both ways man. He either sits and learns like you want or goes out and plays.
