Granted I didn't watch the Pats Browns game but it must have been the most impressive 198 yard performance in NFL history

It was an excellent gameplan... everything new England tried worked, starting with the ground game.

I guess Belichick still has it out for the Browns lol

their run game has been really good this year, and that's pretty surprising considering the guys they got.

and Josh is once again showing why he's one of the best play callers in the league. i really wonder how much longer he's okay with being an OC...we know he failed the first time, but that 10 years ago. he's been with NE now since 2012

when he gets his shot again, whatever team he goes to is gonna be really good imo

It was efficient enough to put up 38 points and get the kid a chance to watch the game from the sideline for most of the 4th Q.
Jags really messed up. Should've taken him #1. I bet Jags would most likely be undefeated right now if they drafted him, or the Jets.

You don't get as many yards when you are on the sideline in the 4th quarter. That's what happens when you put up a lot of points.

Watch the games. He throws dimes all over the field.

I've seen a bunch of Pats games as I have Harris in fantasy. He was hurt this week so I missed this one. Jones hasn't done anything to impress me so far. More pro ready than the other rooks but that's about it. This team is winning with their D, tight ends, running backs and special teams, in other words back to old school Belichick football.

He put up 38 against a playoff team last year. Against a D that sacked Fields 9 times and limited him to 68 yards passing and 6 points.
lol Mac has had a ton of impressive plays. NE has the 3rd most 20+ yard plays.

They could win the superbowl and people would still hate on him. Pathetic denial. So the f**k what if he throws what the defense gives him. When he needs to,, he actually CAN make the throws that alot of you said he couldn't. So take the analytics and shove it. He just beat down a team that demolished the great Joe Burrow.

It was interesting watching Mahomes last night working all the short/mid-range stuff. In an interview he admitted he had to quit trying to push everything down the field and start taking what the defense was giving him. He admitted all those "check-downs" were frustrating but eventually they opened up the deeper stuff. That description was very much like what happened yesterday in the New England game.

The Patriots have been putting together a very good team. They have two shots at the Bills and one with Tennessee. With the way they are running the ball with Stevenson, they could make a lot of noise between now and the playoffs.

Is that what Mac Jones did??

Yeah actually

I guess we were watching a different game.

12 of his 23 passes were thrown at or behind the LOS, so you may have been watching only half his throws.

Aside from the 2nd drive of the game, he threw at least two screens on every possession.
...and the reason they threw those screen passes was?

Oh, that's right. #95 on the Browns' team.

"Look at the scoreboard."

That's right.
Browns destroy the Bears rookie QB cause the bears tried to run 5 wide vertical passing game. "Fields coaches set him up for failure." The Patriots throttle the Browns with their rookie QB running a quick horizontal passing game. "Mac Jones didn't even do anything."

That said I'm HOPING to see Lance become The future of the Niners..I'm just not sure Lance has the same quality of EXPERIENCED coaching behind Him as Jones does ..thats worrisome...

There isn't much to figure out. This is very much the same offense McDaniel ran with Brady. It is the "New England" offense and it hasn't changed in a decade. It is the ultimate complementary football that has brought the Lombardi to New England repeatedly.
