He's better than all the other QB's so far. He's light years better than Trey Lance.

Rex Ryan loved Mark sanchez
Basically anyone with okay skills would be looking pretty good in New England right now. Line is great. Tight ends they basically have two very good starter types. Backs are good. Coaching is off the charts good. Not too hard to look solid in that environment. Consider the division as well where they have yet to face the Bills and have already faced the Jets twice. That fact that he can command an NFL huddle and hold his own is commendable. Good release, quick to get it out once he makes his mind up. To be honest I think he projects as a future Jimmy G type. Good solid starter with a quick unload time. Pocket passer. Not going to make off schedule plays or extend a whole bunch with his legs. The ceiling to me seems much higher on the other rookies. If the Pats called today to swap Mac for Lance, Lynch just laughs and hangs up.

You're completely lost on the context. The context is a superstar player that has a history with the media, mocking them and the way they operate.

Lol nothing about fans that aren't big fans of him.

His point was about media coverage

I stopped at your second sentence. Line has been beat up the first half of the season and relied upon the PS to help get 5 healthy guys out there.

What the hell is this spin? He was speaking generally to everyone who doubted him. And if I remember correctly, it was the fans, not the media, who were hating on Mac Jones.

Per PFF

The recipe for success? Acting like the schematic advances of the past decade never even happened. In a league that's been 62% pass over the past month, the Patriots are legitimately a run-first offense at 50.4% (and that's removing all garbage-time snaps).

None of that works if they aren't taking care of business up front which they are. Plus Damien Harris and the rook Stevenson have been dominating.

None of that changes what I said. And that blurb doesn't account for the pass plays and the pass pro that goes along with it.

So does the Bears and 9ers have a better oline than NE because we run more than NE?
