As niner fans, we're all rooting for Mac and the Pats over the Falcons tonight, right? For playoff reasons, right?

Could that possibly lead to a uniting of support...for at least one night?

Check downs and screens... awesome running game will set up intermediate shots down the field. That's about what he does.
Wide open crossing route for a touchdown. Can you imagine the other rookies if they worked in this offense?
Touchdown Mac Jones. Touch and accuracy. Great ball placement.

This guy is awesome, gonna be far and away the best qb of this class. No idea how good the other guys will be but you can tell special when you see it. Mac Jones is special, his feel for the game is incredible.

Most of them can't see more than one read in order to find the wide open guy streaking in the offense.

I agree. He may be the best QB in the draft.

AND a perfect pass in stride. What a leader. A field general. He's beyond his years as Aikman stated.

Poised, precise, surgical, nearly perfect. Aaaannnnnd he wouldn't have cost our future.
He would've started right away

We made the wrong choice period.

We skipped over him, just as you said you would've if you were picking @ #3 for us. He was too much like Jimmy for the #3 spot (your words,...not mine).

With how your opinion ebbs and flows like the tide,...I don't think you're gaining too many 'believers' on your stance by repeating it every couple days. Those that believe that are still in that camp, and those that do not aren't being swayed by you continuing to repeat this.

I simply said I didn't want to trade tons of picks to move up to #3. I was fine to stay put and pick Mac Jones. We would have come out better. While not giving up massive draft capital. That's a win and a win.

This is untrue. The trade was in the past. You can't stay put if the trade has already happened over a month ago, so that's not your 1-liner to sliver out of it.

You said you didn't want to take him @ #3 because you felt he wasn't worth a #3 pick when we already had Jimmy. You would've taken someone else at #3, and I've already quoted you on it.

I read san diegos post and he's right. He didn't want to trade that draft capital for Mac Jones, which all of us felt. He said nothing untrue.

He didn't want to trade draft capital? Okay. Neither did I.

What about when the discussion was "what to do with the #3 pick" though? Are you saying he never commented on what to do with the #3 pick? Because if you are, then you're just lying,...much like he is trying to do.

Let me paraphrase his stance so you can't keep trying to use it as a backdoor...

"I wish we wouldn'tve moved up to #3,...but now that we are picking @ #3, I don't want Mac Jones because we already have a player like him: Jimmy"

There. Covered both topics and it still ends up with SanDiego selecting someone else @ #3,...not Mac Jones. #HisWordsNotMine
