Mac Jones-QB-Jaguars

This is the stupidest, laziest comparison of all time.

numbers are there in abundance. Wildly disparate backgrounds have been described in vivid terms.

Mac Jones is the captain checkdown the "we want carr" crew always dreamed of. He's never really faced any challenges and has never demonstrated any ability to fight back from adversity. He's played from ahead his entire life and career.

Garoppolo over achieved his way into the NFL playing for Eastern Illinois and has demonstrated grit and determination throughout his football career. f**k all that though, the numbers themselves are convincing: Mac Jones is mediocre and Garoppolo is really f'ing good.

Y'all are a f'ing joke with this garbage!
Mac 7-4, the rest of the rookies 5-24.

Most grit and determination I've ever seen sitting from the bench.
Mac is a winner.

Pro scouts were collectively asked to redrafted.

"I've heard from enough scouts where it was like, 'the first QB would still be Lawrence, the second would be between Fields and Jones now'."

You keep lying about Lance not learning the playbook....stop lying.

Kyle literally said this week that Lance knows the playbook and has since TC. He just hasn't been given the reps needed with the 1st string offense to run the damn plays.

McCorkle would be sitting on the butt bench all the same if he went to SF.

Lance was never going to start YR1 unless Jimmy got massively hurt...this wasn't a secret and Kyle said it over and over and over since day 1....only person lying is you buzzy.
This thread feels empty and quiet now. I miss NY and the anything-but-Jimmy crowd losing their damn minds in here. Those were wildly entertaining times. And then it got dark.

Yeah you're right that was great footwork...he totally stepped into that throw and didn't throw off his back foot. f**king clean pocket and he throws a duck into double coverage.

I thought he had some nice touch throws and mentally is more pro-ready than all the rookies...that wasn't some shocking thing and was discussed in here...the fact that you can't admit a terrible throw (which happens every week) shows you can't have a legit convo nor do you want too regarding him.
God damn, up to a 87.0 PFF grade on the year (not huge on PFF, but still). No idea what the future holds, but he's looking good. Can't imagine him in Shanahan's offense.

Also for the record, I wanted no part of Mac. Wouldn't have touched him with a ten foot poll.

Because he doesn't play for SF, so who gives a s**t? He went to the perfect setup for him and his skill set. Nothing he's done has shocked me at all.

above the neck he was ready to play, everything else about him is avg and you can see it week to week. There's a ceiling there and IMO it's not gonna get much higher.

I imagine he would be a lesser armed Kirk in Kyle's offense.

Pete Davis? is a pro scout lol?

I mean it's week 11 not 3 yrs from now...Lance hasn't even played football and that was gonna be the outcome this yr. I wonder what those pro-scouts said about Allen and Mahomes their rookie yrs

Overall did you think that was some outstanding game from Jones last night? I thought it was better scheming and great D more than Jones playing well. I saw a couple nice touch throws (liked the one to Henry) but I saw some bad ones, especially that INT.
