Mac doesn't have the arm talent and size that Brady does....yes there is a ceiling there. He's not Brady nor will he ever be. The fact that you're trying to make that a thing shows YOUR BIAS lol.

For every Brees there's about 100 QBs with the same size/arm that fail...Brees isn't the norm there. Drew is also one of the most accurate QBs in NFL history with flawless mechanics and MASSIVE hands. For the most part he was able to stay healthy, which is rare for a guy like that. He's not gonna throw flat footed in a clean pocket into double coverage like Jones did last night. There's been a ton of dropped INTs so far from Jones. Sure he can improve there. Ceiling isn't as high as all the other QBs and that's what you draft for, not what can he be day 1.

Jones needs a whole hell of a lot to go right in his career to be considered anything like Drew. Jones IMO looks like a young Dalton/Jimmy G more than Brees. We will see...I'm more than happy with who we drafted. I want that untapped potential. We already have a game manager at the helm.

There's only one Tom Brady. No one will ever do what he's done.

I understand how rare hall of fame QBs are but putting a ceiling on any QBs potential is short sighted when we have seen all kinds of QBs be wildly successful.

He's won 6 of his last 7 and should have 9 wins on the year.
He's going to finish top 10 in single season completion % in his rookie year.
Just because he's limited athletically doesn't mean he's anywhere close to his ceiling. That's just plain stupid talk.
He's off the charts with accuracy, leadership, preparation, anticipation. You win Super Bowls with those traits. Not by completing 50% of your passes but hitting 2 or 3 big plays a game. Those plays are t there in the playoffs and super bowl
