we need a plus one system.....
Your I told you so's need to be in bold font at least.....
Titans lost to the Jets and the Texans, so not sure this was a great measuring stick. Especially considering they were without their top 3 weapons on offense and turned the ball over 4 times.

Most games with 100+ Passer Rating, among first-round QBs from 2021 Draft:

Mac Jones is @PFF's QB2 over the last six weeks. Here's what he ranks league wide over that stretch:
— Ryan Spagnoli (@Ryan_Spags) November 29, 2021
• 2nd in yards (1379)
• 2nd in yards per attempt (8.1)
• 2nd in 'big time throws' (9)
• 3rd in passer rating (106.5)
• 4th in TD's (9)
• 4th in completion % (69.4%) pic.twitter.com/4kt9Z0ff9K

The Patriots believe QB Mac Jones throws an easily catchable football, and it's led to a historically low drop rate for New England.

I like when they use the 'last six weeks' and leave out the fact that only 6 other QBs (Jimmy, Hurts, Ryan, Wentz, Tannehill) have played 6 games in that stretch.
• 2nd in yards (1379) - wrong. He is 6th behind Jimmy (1417), Stafford (1478), Carr (1468), Herbert (1459), Rodgers (1442). All but Jimmy have only played 5 games vs Mac's 6.
• 4th in TD's (9) - wrong. He is 8th behind Brady (13), Wentz (12), Stafford (11), Rodgers (11), Herbert (10), Cousins (10), Allen (10). All but Wentz have played 5 games vs Mac's 6.

What's funny about this post is that he thinks it's a knock on Mac that as a rookie he's right next to some elite qbs.
Mac is laughing his ass off all the way to the playoffs and offensive rookie of the year. But keep hating.

noticed a couple things, one… "the moment" adds a lot to the experience, much like "the catch" or John Taylor's super bowl TD, several of Mac's drive extending throws were good but not exceptional , only a highlight of that game…. Not exceptional in their own right. It's key to not let the moment over hype the situation.
Two, the guy has a lot of tight window elite throws at such a young age. He is sporadically making Manning/Brees/Montana level throws. Not games, or seasons… but when you look at just the pass, and placement …. He has some very good stuff, that does give you a sense he has some of the tools the best in the game had. That is where the hype or even over hype is coming from.
The one weakness i think he might have ( totally my opinion and it's a guess about a possible future) is they Brett Farve-ish belief that he can put that ball anywhere. He seems ballsy as hell, without the Farve ball velocity to help you win those bets. His filter that tells him when he can't do it, has saved him from a likely 20td 20int season, but it makes you wonder if a QB coaching change could end up with two different players (like we got with Farve). Absolute total uneducated speculation on my part, but I do wonder about it.
having said all that, i think his ceiling is much higher then many expected. He is flashing excellent throws with maybe average targets.
