You realize there is only a one loss difference between those two teams, right? And Teddy has about the same passing stats. Denver and NE also have the same record vs common opponents.

That's because they also have the best starting field position in the league and their defense is getting the most turnovers.
Do you have a personal masseuse? I sure hope you do cause the weight of the heavy excuses you carry around has got to hurt.
Why are those excuses? Their defense is playing lights out and their schedule is butt. Even the "tough" opponents are teams like the Titans and Browns who have been ravaged by injuries.
Seriously go look at their schedule, SF would be crushing it with that schedule.
That wasn't about just that comment, but all of his comments in this thread. He has a a spin and or excuse for anything and everything that even remotely Mac positive.
The film does not lie, Mac is playing good football period.
It's the Jimmy G "light" thread. Same exact guys in both.

You are responding to a guy who threw a temper tantrum every day on this board for months, due to the fact we "might've" been drafting Mac. It's honestly hilarious how well he's playing and how NY was posting in here.
I miss those times so much. So very much.

Yup even though he has the same air yards per completion as Aaron Rodgers and more than Patrick Mahomes.
Josh Allen leads in the NFL in passing yards without counting the yards gained after the catch. He is 3rd among in air yards per completion and his receivers are a dismal 31st in YAC. Mac Jones is bottom 5 in air yards per completion. pic.twitter.com/93lpHPZ6lg

While Mac Jones is the Duke of checkdowns, Patrick Mahomes has become the king.

Mahomes has the 3rd lowest air yards per completion in the NFL at 4.9 yards downfield. Only Big Ben and Goff have lower average pass distance in 2021.
lots of 2 high safety looks for mahomes, forcing him into shorter completions this year

Here's where you get lost though, IMO. If the stat says he's bottom 5, he's bottom 5.
Aaron Rodgers and Mahomes,...they are plenty more than proven. We KNOW what they are capable of down the field on a consistent basis,...and have witnessed it for years by now.
Namedropping other QBs that are bottom 5 as well in AY/C does not make any point at all about Mac Jones.
Just what is the point about him (that his AY/C backs up)? This is where stats come in. Use them as evidence of something you're trying to say. Alone, they are relatively meaningless.
I think the worst thing people have said about him recently here is that they aren't overly impressed, he has a superb defense (is that a bad thing?), hasn't shown he can push the ball down the field all that much, and aren't anointing him just yet. Don't quite know how bottom 5 in AY/C changes any of this.

We wouldn't know what we had because Jimmy would still be starting. Hell if Cam doesn't full potato in training camp he's starting for at least half the season.

These are twitter posts by a bills fan highlighting a lack of yac for allen. It shows how inaccurate he's been. I wonder if he realizes that?

How the hell is that logic? its so wrong in every which way.
1. Jimmy probably isnt here because mac was 10000x times more ready to start than trey.
2. Cam didnt do go full potato. He was beat out by a much better player and belicheck was smart enough to know that. compare both of their play this last weekend. One played lights out. one got benched.
just more excuses

1. Our offense is more complex than what the Pats are doing so yah he would be sitting and learning. Jimmy had to sit and learn as well. He didn't start from day 1. You telling me one season starting at Bama trumps 3+ years learning at the foot of Brady?
2. They moved on from Cam when he messed up his COVID stuff. He was going to be the starter. Mac didn't beat anyone out, Cam got himself cut. If Cam doesn't screw up the COVID stuff he's still a Patriot.
Why is there such an intense desire to see Mac Jones succeed and Trey Lance fail? Do you hate Shanny that much? What do you personally gain if that happens?
