Someone attempted to praise his intelligence by saying he had a masters degree. Then someone else joked that it was in sports hospitality. That's all.

Then you got offended, took an obvious joke as a slight against your own family, insult that poster and give us reasons why Jones is a genius.

Ironic giving your post history in the Fields thread and attacking anyone who argues that he is anything less than than a future All-Pro quarterback.

You make all the excuses in the world for why he's been subpar most of his rookie season and some of them may even be valid but then you come in here regularly making the same kinds of attacks on a guy who has actually played well most of the season.

At least be consistent. Beyond one Alabama superfan/homer, most positive posts about Jones fall along the lines of "Wow, he's done a good job as a rookie running that offense and making plays when they need it" which results in like 20 responses of "lulz, literally anyone can do that/he's garbage/he's doing okay for a rookie game manager who never has to throw beyond 3 yards/he shouldn't have even been a 5th rounder, let alone a 1st rounder."

The same people who couldn't handle the thought of the 49ers drafting him also apparently can't deal with him receiving praise of any kind, even when he's in a completely different conference.

My girlfriend does this when she's losing an argument, takes it all over the place. Nice job lol.

You love Mac... it's ok. You and your crew just go about it in a really, really weird way is all.

I was a big Fields fan and that's who I wanted, but I couldn't care less about him now and I think I've made like 5 posts in his thread since the draft. This thread is one pace right now to have even more posts than the Jimmy thread.

Some of these guys would root against the niners if we played the Pats, especially if Trey would be playing.

Largely due to people who profess not to care about the player but can't stop coming in here and ranting about him. If it was just those that follow Jones because they liked him in college and liked him as a prospect, there'd be fewer than half the current total posts.

Not really, especially if you go by post count. And NYs posts were pretty much all predraft.

The top posters in here(including you) are guys that just can't stop gushing over Mac and for some reason feel some need to protect him when anyone wants to say something bad about him. Imagine if we had so many RW fans lol. Not one bats an eye(and rightfully so) when someone talks s**t about RW, or most other QBs, that's why I don't understand this fascination with Mac.

Well if it helps he's a rookie QB on a team that went 7-9 last year and is now the #1 overall seed in the AFC.

And that was trashed and degraded in this thread. And that we could've drafted without giving up assets

.
Among QBs with 13 games played:

Completions: 14th place out of 15
Yards: 14th place out of 15
TDs: 13th place out of 15
QBR: 10th place out of 15

II'm willing to bet he's likely 15th out of 15th in passing attempts. Which has a direct result on your 1st 3 categories.

But as you were....
If Mac threw this pass, everyone would be using it as some confirmation of Macs noodle arm, and would never let it go lol

Well, let's be honest. If Mac threw that we wouldn't exactly be coming on here talking about it either.
The greatest 2 completions in a game in NFL history. I've seen enough get this man to Canton.

There would be no ignoring it. There would have been pages and pages about the throw.

Funny how you want to use context now...
