We all know that special teams errors that put 7 on the board go on the QB stat sheet as a pick-6.

Mac Jones just throws INTs and loses games.
So when NE played a legit team (not in a wind storm), doesn't get an early lead based off running the ball and have to play from behind….Jones can't bail them out with his elite arm talent?
Weird it's like some of us were saying that. Kid has played about how I thought he would in NE.
You mean like how he constantly puts his team in position to win (even with mistakes) as a rookie but they lose because his teammates fumble in the RZ, can't tackle, have key penalties, etc.
It's almost like QB's actually can't transcend every problem on a team in a team sport. This sounds a lot like another thread.

As he likes to say...narratives and QBscuses or something like that.
However, I do think Mac Jones does deserve some respect (not that NY or others haven't necessarily given it to him). I don't think it's ground breaking to say he's better than Trey RIGHT NOW (also should be obvious and already known) and for what it's worth, I'd like him more than Jimmy G if it wasn't for the extremely punchable face. He doesnt have Jimmy's elite release, but he does have better accuracy, particularly on the deep ball. A lot of the same shortcomings, but on a rookie deal with room for improvement.

My point is overall, he's done that many times this year and came back to either put his team in position to win at the end and he's won and lost (when the other parts of a team game didn't hold up). That's very impressive for any QB let alone a rookie.
I understand you are incapable of seeing anything beyond a QB but I was just speaking from an overall perspective and team aspect. It's always easier to focus on an INT than a missed tackle for 7 that actually ended the game.

Came back off prevent D and INY fumbling…bravo.
yes his a rookie. Maybe people in this thread should realize that & what's really making the NE team go right now.
I understand you're incapable off being objective about the situation in NE. I've literally been saying it's their OL, D and running game that have made that team going…you like a couple others in here are too busy licking Jones' balls to see that….BUT once they lose a game where everything around him isn't perfect, here you are saying hey man look at everything else lol. It's only right when it fits your narrative can't have it both ways.
I watch their games every damn week. He's a good game manger who at the very least is good at making the correct reads….that's great in all, but in todays game you need more than that when you get put in a position like they were in the other day…that's what separates QBs.

He threw 2 picks
QB/Offense scored 17 with 2 INT's
Defense gave up 20
Special teams gave up 7
What's the point?
I feel like as 49er fans, we've seen these kinds of team losses before.
PS: It definitely wasn't a great game by the QB personally, to say the least.
