Yah cause its Mac Jones' fault his defense can't tackle.

No, it's his fault for having a 140 yards and 0 TDs and 2 picks, especially when you consider how well Harris was playing.

Talent wise, the Nick Mullens comparison was spot on. He better have a work ethic even better than Brady's if we wants to be a consistent good starter in the NFL. His talent alone won't get him far.
But PFF had all these stats telling me that Mac Jones is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL since week 8... not only that, he was the dark horse for MVP.

This is why you watch games. Stat hunting is nice when it fits your narrative, but it doesn't give you the whole picture. I've always said Mac was a 2nd rounder at best, I may yet be proven wrong, but this performance is more in line with his ability than some of the other bloated games he's had, filled with a dominant run performance, dumpoff and screen passes.
Looked terrible. But he's a rookie and will have his ups and downs. It also didn't help that new England's defense is starting to not look dominant.

I can't wait until virtually all of the 2021 rookies blow Jones away. What we have seen from him is exactly what we thought we'd get. He was the most ready of all the QBs, so it isn't a surprise that he's performed well. We'll see where things stand in years 2-4 when the talent gap on the teams close + Trey getting his opportunity (Lance has more talent available than all of the 2021 QBs).

That will happen when you start playing teams with a winning record.
Bad game, where is SD's annual post?
Curious... where are all the posters who drove this thread for the first 10-12 weeks of the season. Fell of a cliff? Should be in here backing your guy, no?

Phoenix and NCommand will be in here pretending that they never cared to begin with, Bama will disappear until his next mediocre game and he'll pop up like usual.
