Mostly to the opponent these days.

Td/int ratio last 5 Games:

Lawrence: 1/5
Wilson: 3/2
Fields: 5/7
Jones: 5/5

only Wilson has a better ratio during this "down" streak of Jones.

Weird are you in those QB threads trashing them?

Weird that you left off Davis Mills who has 7 TDs and 2 Ints over his last 5 starts with a lot less talent around him than Jones.

I only did the QBs drafted in first round. Guess all the teams messed up with Mills.

if you didn't like Jones in college I srsly doubt you liked Mills.

As I said Mac has been decent and I think will continue to be decent in his career. No shame in that!

Jones does not have the best WRs. Kendrick Bourne is his #1

The majority of people who hated Jones was bc he didn't have the mobility like Wilson, Fields, etc. Jones and Mills were both pocket QBs which according to many are a dying breed.

I think it was more of an arm issue than mobility. Which is still true

false....it was the mediocre arm talent

mac jones with a strong arm could have cement feet and still be valuable

noodle arm means more likely chad pennington than league mvp

For me at least, this. Mills has a bigger arm and was much more affordable.
Oh no he is stinking it up!

Lol at the noodle arm narrative. He's actually in the top 10 in deep ball accuracy this year. Jones has an average arm. I have yet to see a game where I came away thinking, damn if only Jones had a bigger arm.

Having a strong arm is severely overrated. So many QBs come into the league with rifle arm talent and bust out. Almost as overrated as the scrambling QB.

I will give you that. Jones was affordable too though.

Obviously. The league is definitely going back to average arm, non mobile QBs. That's the future of the NFL. Who wants Allen, Herbert, Pat, Murray, when you can have Chad Pennington!

Why does it have to be Pennington? Why not Joe Burrow, D Brees, Brady, Montana, Rivers, Manning (both)?

Bc all those guys have/had better arms, and some were better athletes. But ya, keep thinking with his limited ability that he will come anywhere close to being that great. Nick Mullens also gonna have a break out year anytime now.
