Go back and read the OP. He mentions "rivals". He's conflating the fact that both clubs have lots of rings so it makes them in his word "rivals". The reality is, no it doesn't.

Regarding Mac Jones, he ended up in the perfect spot for himself.

Given his penchant for sometimes drafting very well I believe Bill Belichik can win a Super Bowl with Mac once the team around him is up to par.

Regarding our rivalries, the Patriots are not one of them. We would have had to play in a Super Bowl, and lost to them in one, to make me view them as a rival.

The fact that they have won 6 Super Bowl titles since we last won one is just indicative of the Patriots having a superior organizational structure while we were pathetic.

That being a complete reversal of the situation during our Golden era in the 80's and 90's.

Now that that lunacy is out the way,...explain to us why you'd enjoy watching New England win their 7th championship with Mac Jones while we still have 5.

We normally don't do that but this thread gets a lot of action and it seems his career will be closely monitored.

Jones would get it over Pitts for sure i would even argue over Najee I would put chase and waddle as 1 and 2

Chase is the most deserving but I truly hope Mac wins it just so I have some great entertainment to read when I am on the s**tter.

Bunch of folks in this thread would lose their s**t if Mac pulled off the upset on Chase here.
