Mac is a younger Jimmy G, people doesn't want to believe it but it's true. The biggest difference is that Mac can stay healthy.

Jimmy can rip it within 15-20 yards, Mac doesn't have that sort of an arm. It's all touch passes with him. He's Chad Pennington basically. Which means he will be a serviceable QB for his career.

i liked him in the draft and give him praise for what he is good at

mac jones, cousins, ryan, garoppolo, etc. kind of all the same qb

i dont want to name names but youll see if mac beats BUF a ton of posters coming out of hiding

i dont think mac can beat the BUF defense unless something crazy happens

I think Mac will be much better simply due to the fact he moves a lot better than Jimmy does. Where as I think Jimmy has a quicker release and ability to drive the ball in between defenders.

But right now I think they are very close.

Mac is not close to jimmy lol. Teams have years of footage on jimmy, and have adjusted to him. He's made some adjustments too but that's why jimmy is a mid tier QB. You've already seen in the 2nd half of the season what people are doing to Mac with good success. Yes he's beaten up on jags/jets (and had a great game vs Tennessee!) but the question will be how does Mac adapt because he looked really bad vs Indy, buffalo, Miami.

They are already making excuses for him. Now saying he has been playing with multiple injuries. Funny how that wasn't brought up when he was playing decent. So if they lose to the Bills and he struggles they will use that built in excuse that he wasn't healthy.
