Mac Jones-QB-Jaguars

Said this mid-November amid his hotstreak:

I say this once a month without much recognition regarding it,...but the NFL, as is often said, is A LEAGUE OF ADJUSTMENTS.

Kyle knows this himself having had RG3 to try and foster. How'd that pan out?

Legit teams know exactly how to play us with Jimmy G by now. Give some of these defensive coaches a year of game film on Mac in the Patriots offense and he becomes a sitting target. Ok then, how will his game react? If you are sure he will be just fine,...what have you seen from him this season that makes you so sure?

Funny how some of you are simply unwilling to listen,...but here we are, after they've lost 4 of their last 5 to close out the season. Halftime point totals in those 4 losses for the Patriots were 0, 7, 7, and 3. Amid those pitiful showings, they beat up on the team with the #1 pick next year so let me give them their credit.

But about that point regarding the league needing time to adjust to a new product,....uhmm,...yea. I'd say that my theory that this is a league of adjustments is coming to pass. Wouldn't you?

His career isin't over! Now it's his turn to adjust his game and improve. How much can he improve? Guys get bigger, stronger, even faster, and wiser all the time in this league. How much he does actually improve remains to be seen.

But the theory about this amazing ready-made product that was the obvious choice and bla bla bla has officially crapped the bed.

his 2nd half the season is what I expected . He wowed me the 1st half .

If you watched him play and understood the offense they were running, there was nothing to be wowed about.
🗑
Don't worry Mac fans, he's gonna put the work in the offseason. Gonna come back with Pat's throwing ability and Lamar's running ability.
I think it's fair to critique Mac's contributions (or lack thereof) yesterday without being accused of placing the loss solely on him. They would have lost even if he had an amazing game, but that doesn't seem to be the point being made, rather, that he didn't have an amazing game regardless.

LMAO. That was such a stupid take if someone had that. Hell, I heard Joe Burrow being called that by Rex Ryan. And if they call him Joe Cool one more time, I'm going to lose it. There's only ONE Joe Cool.

Ttruly. When Kendrick Bourne is your #1 receiver, game over. We know what that's like.

Their defense and run blocking was excellent early but boy did that fall off late in the season. You're not going to make up for that with a rookie QB and Kendrick Bourne.

Mac Jones is just a QB that I would never draft. A game manager with no athleticism.

Nothing wrong with that take. Lots of different styled QB's now. Take your pick!

I like getting a guy similar to the dude playing for Buffalo.
Only and all short passes on the Bucs first drive.

And the first Buffalo td was compared by the commentators with The Catch. Even though there was little or no pass rush on Allen. Give me strength, the ignorance of some of these commentators!
well last night it was the strong athletic qb killing the pocket passer, it's the exact opposite today. Lot of Hurts game in Lances
