Accolades....
Lets face it, Jimmy Garoppolo had a better season than Mac, but people crucified him. Enough with the Mac 2nd guessers.

In before the "49ers should have drafted Mac Jones because he played decent in a meaningless game that he really wasn't even invited to play in" talk.
I never watched the pro-bowl before and didn't realize that there was no tackling allowed. I turned it off immediately.

Stafford has always been a statue. Burrow is only barely more mobile
Simply untrue. Look @ a scouting report when he was coming out of college. They don't match the narrative.
A couple examples:
CBS Sportsline's Rob Rang said Stafford "impressed scouts most with his accuracy, touch and better mobility than he's often given credit for." He also spoke to a scout who said he was "pretty much on throughout the entire workout...handled the pressure well." and "he helped himself today."
After seeing Stafford in Allen Park on Sunday, I think it's safe to say that I drastically underestimated what Bevell meant by Stafford being a mobile quarterback, because this guy was all over the place. He was running damn near to the sideline and tossing dimes down field. On one play, he threw one off his back foot way out of the pocket in almost a Michael Jordan fade away-esque fashion and completed the pass.
Or look @ what happens in actual games:
And I get the feeling that mobility isin't really what people are keying in on here.
Case in point, per NC, just a couple weeks ago Aaron Rodgers was the "stationary pocket passer" (due to his age as well? Lol) and all of the AFC QBs left -- including Burrow -- were the athletic types. Now fastforward to today and he's done a complete 180 on that, lol. His words, not mine.
Lol so what is the endgame here really? All 32 teams have pocket passers, it's just some are much better doing it than others.
It really seems like this back and forth has really become about one's on personal comfort with the direction the league is going in. Which is fine,....tell yourself whatever. But posting falsehoods and inconsistent stuff on messageboards can expect to be corrected,...even in this day and age.

LOL. Boy the definition of mobile sure gets skewed in here. Two QB's with less than 175 yards rushing for the year are now in the athletic/mobile QB bucket. Good Lord.
Jimmy has 51 yards rushing. I guess he's mobile too now.

Or just watch the games instead of reading box scores??

Mac Jones had the 7th (i believe it was 7th most) most rushing yards out of all QBs in the playoffs. That however got pushed to the side.
