At his current production level he'll be a 2 time Pro Bowler once 13 other AFC QBs pass on the game.

Didn't someone post that Mac Jones is 2-9 when the defense gives up 14 or more points? You enjoy your McCorkle.
Since it's been moved....
Trey is 0-2.5 in same situation.
The SEA game was 7-7 at halftime when he came in. Got outscored 2nd half 21-14

May as well keep backup Jimmy if that's the offer. We can get that as a comp pick when he departs in free agency. It makes no sense to let go of Jimmy for any less than a 2nd simply because of the comp pick formula.

I doubt there would be a comp pick bc of his salary that a team will sign him too. Better to guarantee a pick now, and maybe it will be even better.
Mac should've spent more time on the playbook and not trying to look like Kap in the offseason. His 6 pack isn't gonna help him

The hope is that Jones will be healthy enough to suit up against the Steelers after dealing with back spasms in the loss to Miami. If he plays, will New England grow more creative against a rabid Pittsburgh defense? Jones was plopped into a scheme that used just two personnel groupings against the Dolphins, per The Athletic. The Pats mostly ignored play action, a schematic friend to Jones in the past. One of the team's better weapons, Kendrick Bourne, barely saw the field. Last year's top rookie quarterback deserves better.
