Yep the one TD he threw could of easily been an interception, and probably should have. Agholor bailed him out with a nice takeaway grab. Im still happy we didnt take him

Lol only throwing out caveats for the wins?

If you are going to objectively review a guys play I don't know how you look at a 10 yard drive where he handed it off twice and did a Lil dump off showed anything of note.

It also never happens if the Steelers db catches the ball Mac threw right to him.

He also threw a ball on the run right to a Steelers DB that was a total drop. 2 plays later Steelers muff the punt giving the Patriots the ball on the 10. Was the difference in the game.

Same plays Trey was getting credit for all training camp to Aiyuk

Edit: that said, I didn't like that pass.

I don't think he played great by any means. He played adequately. That's objectively reviewing. You should try it

Andy Dalton also was adequate a lot. No shame

You're comparing a 24 year old 2nd year QB to a 10+ year vet? I'm old enough to remember when that was frowned upon.

As opposed to comparing him to Drew Brees?

Assuming you are insinuating I compared him to Brees. To my knowledge I never compared him to Drew Brees. I only asked why pocket passers only get comps of Cousins or Dalton instead of brees/aikman but the mobile guys go straight to Allen or Mahomes. I did however said his floor was Kirk Cousins and ceiling almost the best of Matt Ryan.

That was my comp of him coming out. I stick by my comp.

If you can convince yourself Nick Mullens is a starting caliber NFL QB you can convince yourself eventually Mac Jones will be near MVP level.

He was when I said it!
I was impressed with msc last year. He's not looking so good this year. Can't really blame him with losing his ic and having no idea who is actually calling the offense. Many saw his regression coming
