He was soo bad this past game but gets the W and enough of a stat line to not trip the media who only looks at stats when making narratives.
Witherspoon helped keep him off the hot seat. But I've always said it... put 17 games on tape... then we know the QB you are. I forgot who but they made a video about Jones with zone vs man... NFL D coordinators saw that too. He's a more accurate but lesser arm than JG, D coordinators are gonna man up every game now and force him to adjust. Now its up to him to evolve and if he doesnt it's Pennington 2.0.

Hes annoying and i havent really paid attention to him since he started playing. But earlier the little unecessary dance in the endzone, the lip licking kiss thing, and yes, the flop refs should have flagged him, and lmao another int

Made some nice plays with his legs but some really bad throwing decisions. Teams see to have caught on to his tendencies.
His ankle injury on the last pick looked really bad. That's a bummer

Whether Trey realizes his potential or not, it's becoming quite clear that the 49ers made the right choice not drafting Mac.

That may well prove to be the case, however, losing McDaniels and replacing him with Matt Patricia is not helping that offense at all.

The point is the ceiling for both players. Mac Jones' ceiling under Shanahan is Jimmy Garoppolo, so it wouldn't have made sense. Lance's floor might be lower, but his ceiling is far higher. You have to try and open up the offense to its max potential with a guy like Lance. Its just a shame that Kyle is clueless on how to integrate a young QB in a way that keeps him healthy and builds confidence.
