I went 2+ years saying Vernon wasn't worth the #6 or whatever I knew he was. Yes I wanted Huff as he was supposed to be able to play CB as well as S. That wasn't the case. That said he wasn't horrible either he like Vern both earned 1 AP team in their careers.
Vernon Davis was not the weapon people around here thought he'd be. Kinda like the guy we have at QB

He was an incredible weapon. But never had a legitimate QB. If he played with Tom Brady he would have been unbelievable. He put up some big years there with very questionable QB's. All on his own with just speed. Running away from people is how he did it.
