100% would have been a draft bust in San Francisco. At least Jimmy would only complain to Kyle quietly about running a run first offense

Thd funny thing about Mac wanting to pass more is that more Mac passing increases the chances of a patriots loss. He wins by pats running a lot and not putting too much on him

WR is definitely a blind spot for BB in talent evaluation.

really though. The same ones that gives JG's weapons all of the credit are in here failing to mention Mac's lack thereof! They had to put a DB in on offense for an explosive play. Think about that for a minute. And on that explosive play it was a run play that Mac noticed the offensive advantage. In which he took advantage of.

quite the opposite. Give him these weapons that can actually get separation. He would be the best version of JG. He's more mobile than JG and not afraid to cut it loose. He would offer exactly what we want from JG.

They also have a Defensive Coordinator who's never called Offense running the show.

what's cute is, all of those hits and ugly faces, the cookie eating beer belly Dad bod has started 26 games. Been hit/sacked 110 times. 2 injuries. with 2 games missed due to injury. The guy we selected 4 games started been hit/sacked 15 times. 2 injuries and will have AT LEAST 15 games missed due to injury.

Before someone brings up rushing attempts, Mac Jones 74 rushes. Trey Lance 54 rushes. To be fair, some of Mac's rushes are victory formation rushes.

Mac can be serviceable for sure. He would be lucky if he ever got to jimmy G's level. Jimmy is a better QB is just about every category I can think of.

It is unfortunate for Mac that he got Alex smith'd with coordinator but the most baffling thing to me is how bad he looks in the pocket, how bad his situational awareness is and how bad he looks after his first read is taken away. He was supposed to be the "cerebral" QB of the draft with the best pocket skills and elite at reading defenses... He's been none of those things this year. We've all seen sophomore slumps/defenses getting enough film on a QB and that seems to be Mac.

It's the 2nd year slump....a lot of QB's go through it even Allen who he played against. It would be nice to evaluate him with a single NFL caliber starting Receiver. We talk about his first read gets taken away but on his team it's nearly every receiver who struggles with separation.

Straight s**t show.
a lot of frustrating Pats fan were booing him it got ugly out there Mac Jones looked like a R Wilson looked lost n confused 👀 I think BB should pull the trigger like Robert Saleh and let the back up QB from the Pats play more at least they looked better offensively with him then Mac Jones
No matter how Lance turns out I think it is safe to say the Niners didn't miss on Mac
