Again there's no shame in being Andy Dalton. Cincinnati won with him too.

Again, who am I to try and sway your opinion.

You won't anymore than trying to convince me Max Duggan should go 3rd overall.
He's a bust. Below average arm strength is the reason the coaching staff don't call many passing plays beyond 5-10 yards. Imagine wasting a 1st round pick on a guy who has already reached his ceiling in his first year and it was a blowout loss to a division rival in the first round of the playoffs.

He can't compete with QBs in the AFC ever not because of the lack of talent surrounding him but because of the lack of talent he has.

Going to enjoy watching Belicheat die coaching this loser...
I actually do like Mac as a mid 1st ON THE RIGHT TEAM. He will never be a top 10-15 but could be a nice cog. As it is now, and where he is, it's not looking great.

I am tough on Mac but feel no one can say he's "lost" or awful. He's got some good things going for him but the scenarios you can win with him are very narrow.

Worst thing that happened to him is Josh McDaniels taking the Oakland job. It was like when norv left Alex Smith and we got f**king jimmy raye

I am with you on this. Aside from top 10-15 he already was as a rookie in alot of the categories. Plus the rankings are usually a life time achievement and is subjective. Which is neither here nor there.

But I said leading up to the draft that I wasn't naive enough to think he could go to any team and succeed but felt like here, NE (as constructed last year) and NO were for sure hus best spots. But I feel EVERY QB needs the right situation/scheme to be successful. Even Bruce Arians mid-season year 1 had to adjust his offense to Tom Brady

I think he got exposed quite a bit in the 2nd half of last year. It'd have been interesting to see how he adapted once teams got footage, adjusted, etc. but he essentially had to start over.

At no point last season would I have called him a top 15 QB but I understand that in some advanced metrics he did really well, especially in the 1st half of the season.

Pats can still salvage him by getting a real OC & some play makers around him. Will they though??

I disagree with the premise teams adjusted to him. He had 2 bad games INDY and BUF. Just cause teams lose doesn't mean a QB is at fault or that he was figured out

EDIT: even the playoff game he didn't play bad. His opponent scored a TD on all 7 possessions. Which yea, makes it look worse than it really was

Jones was part of the reason they score 7 TDs, (3 and outs)

1 3 and out but cool story. And that 3 and out possession was 3 straight runs.

Half their possessions they moved the ball. 6 of 8 to midfield or beyond

2 of which ended in interceptions.

People don't get too impressed by 2nd half garbage time stats.

When your offense has 3 points until garbage time the QB was a big factor
PFF against Bills 53, season avg is 59.
Noodle arm Mac and Cheese LMFAO

Belicheat coming to the realization he's going to die before he ever gets to the Super Bowl. No worries for Pats fans though they got fellow fatass Matt Patricia to lead them to the bottom of the division for the next decade.
