He's still a meh qb to me, but he's being done zero favours in NE.

I agree with all of this but I definitely see what posters were talking about when it comes to Mac and pressure. He definitely reminds me of Jimmy in that regard. I still feel he would have been a better version of Jimmy here. You are right though. They're not doing him any favors.

That said, his attitude is kind of turning me off to be honest

Seeing purdy perform it's hard to imagine Mac not doing well here. As they always say, it's not always how good you are but where you're drafted

Kyle's offense is at it's best when playaction is involved. Not sure that suits Mac's game at all. Purdy is alot more mobile than Mac. Mac gets sacked like 5 times a game it seems because he's not mobile, not elusive, and actually pretty weak to shrug off any of the rushers. It seems as soon as someone gets one pinky on him he goes down.

That was always my thing. Mac was a perfect fit here. IMO Trey made zero sense for us. As far as scheme fit.

From last year.

At this point in the NFL campaign, Jones is one of the more successful passers when the Patriots dial up play-action designs. According to charting data from Pro Football Focus, Jones has an Adjusted Completion Percentage (ACP) of 82.8% on play-action designs this season, tying him for fifth-best in the league with Dak Prescott among qualified passers. His raw completion percentage jumps from 67.8% to 77.1% when using play-action, and that difference of 9.3% is fifth-best in the league among qualified passers.

Overall, Jones has completed 81 of 105 passes for 1,001 yards and four touchdowns, against three interceptions, when using play-action this season.

Suspend his ass. This is not his first time doing anything like this in a game

Instead of attempting to tackle the guy with the ball, he goes and does a dirty hit on a guy that was going to have no impact on the play.

Thank god we passed on this turd. Multiple instances of him being a dirty player. Hated his attitude and it's starting to show

And why is he trying to block when the other team has the ball? Makes that Bengals play look even more suspicious because there is no logical reason for him to even block in that situation, Let alone going low like that. Also if you notice, All these dirty plays happen after a play doesn't go his way. He's a hothead as we have seen from his on field tantrums and he let's out his anger and frustration on the other team with these questionable hits after the play.

Is it because Kendrick Bourne is his #1? Surely you're going to give him the same excuse right?
f**k this fool. Hope he gets his head taken off on his next interception. Head on a swivel you piece of s**t dirty Bama

He's having a sophomore slump and having some of his tendencies be exposed this year. People who want to bury him already know they should wait til year 3 but can't help themselves cause they really want to say "I told you so". I'm hoping he rebounds next year with a real OC as the NFL is better with good QBs.

Well Trey is getting buried by people without even getting the opportunity.
