Not trying to be a jerk, but that's kinda been you in this draft room about Mac. "oh he's a decent qb and i wouldn't hate it if we drafted him.....but his arm sucks, hes not mobile, hes a statue and runs like hes stuck in mud, and had his o-line/wrs save him and make him look good, and boohoo that he didnt have actual receivers helping in his pro day and caused him not to look special.......but yea, wouldnt be upset if we drafted him"

This has been your message about Mac lol

And for the record, I'm fine with Lawrence, Wilson, Fields, Lance, Mac, Mills, and Trask because I feel like they are fits for this offense. Lawrence, Wilson, and Mac are more pro ready IMO, but Mills, Lance, Fields, and Trask should be targets as well.

Nah I never said I was all about drafting him, I said if he's the QB I will accept it and root for him. I don't think he's a top 12 caliber talent. That's hasn't change one bit.

Yes I said he great from the head up, he can process the field well and make the proper reads....I also said he has an avg to below avg arm, his athletic ability is below avg, & he can't make plays out of structure like the other prospects...plus he was surround by elite talent top to bottom every week.

That my friend is not being passive aggressive, it's calling it how I see it with McCorkle. Some of you clearly see it a different way, which is fine...no need to be upset or think I'm being PA because I'm not on board with him like some in here.

also unlike you am not on board with every QB in the draft....Just see it differently.

Also when you start a sentence with not trying be a jerk, then try to call me out on everything...that's being passive aggressive

Either way I'm fine with debate and talking about whatever.

Just noting an example lol. And you know that's true.

Lots of pundits from PFF, NFLN, and ESPN were pretty high on his performance.

Btw, I would prefer Fields. I'm just being realistic with who we can get. I definitely wasn't a Mac fan coming into this season, but I've seen enough overtime to like him as well.

Overall, I think all of these QBs have some things that make you worry a bit. I know some think that Lawrence is the second coming of Jesus, but I really don't think he's a perfect prospect either.

Hey man that's your opinion, like I said I'll root for him or whomever is a Niner end of the day....I don't think he's as talented as the other 4 QBs and overall pretty comparable to our current QB situation.

I do agree these QBs all have their warts. For me when drafting one this high it's about what they could becoming, what's that legit ceiling.
And as much of a supporter as I am of Mac, I actually think Mills had a much better performance at his pro day.
I'm just glad I don't love any QB in this draft. I get tired just seeing you guys debate them.

All I've been hearing so far from media places is that Jones had a great pro day.

I personally wouldn't call it great overall. IMO the areas he needed to show, was great. Faster 40 than the haters said. Better throwing on the move than even I anticipated and better arm strength than advertised.

He did miss a few deep throws and had a couple more left behind receivers. So I guess from dismissing his negatives standpoint I can see where one would say is great.

Like I've said I've never seen a bad pro day (besides Teddy)....for me I was left with the same issues overall that I have with him. Nothing he did changed how I felt, I wish I could say something different and magically thought he was better than I think he is.

Also no I'm not being passive aggressive about Jones in here...I simply state what he's good/bad at and how I feel he stacks up against the rest. I will root for him if he becomes the QB and if he balls out I will be the first to eat crow ( I have no problem being wrong). I do expect the same though

Hell if we had the 1st pick I guarantee more people than you'd think would find a way to not want Lawrence.

The bosa thing was weird, it got political. But now no one cares anymore. Draft season is too long sometimes.

Yeah, but on game day - Mac performs.
You guys hear the tidbit during the pro day about Mac calling his senior bowl coaches at 2AM to ask questions about specific plays during the senior bowl week?

The kid is driven.
if shanahan says he's worthy at 12 i'm on board but i have to be honest that i would rather have any of the other 4 QB's ahead of him. Still, i'm just an internet nobody who doesn't know s**t about what shanahan might be looking for so what i think doesn't matter much. i'm down with whoever we get and will say that some of his measurables i was surprised about today
