Or you could say Baker Mayfield but we all know you won't use a positive comp to discuss Jones

He's been comped fo Stidham and so far it adds up

Who's Kent Lee Platte?

And yet I have seen one draft profile comparing him to Baker? I'll give ya Daniel Jones and his goofy ass though lol.

That tweet also say Joe Flacco had better test numbers than Baker lol.

Only talking about workout comps.

And Joe Flacco had better numbers than Baker...what are we proving here? Mayfield isn't a good athlete.

Comps are about coming out of college not what they are as NFL players. Is what we've been told.

GRADE: 7.05 (Round 1)

PRO COMPARISON: Case Keenum, Denver Broncos

OVERALL

Mayfield is a polarizing prospect given his size and off-field issues, but he is also the most accurate passer in the draft and a natural playmaker with his legs. In the right scheme, he should be able to start early in his pro career.

You can look up his complete profile and it's actually eerily similar. Right down to the DUI/public intox.

Him throwing today will be like every other game at Alabama. No pressure and throwing to wide open receivers.

That's the narrative.

Kyle's scheme creates wide open receivers on the regular and Deebo, Aiyuk, and Kittle are supreme talent with which to work with.

Aiyuk would eat deep with Jones. Better not pass on him at 12 if Wilson/Fields/Lance are gone.

Yeah this doesn't get talked about enough here

I mean if that's the case then just draft a Mills or some other job blow later.

Because McCorkle is superior than Mills. If drafting at #2 I'm all over Wilson but we're at #12.

Been in the biggest of games and performed. Elite accuracy and deep thrower. Elite processing between the ears will get the ball out quickly. Clutch gene TBD but I like what I've seen.

Not a bad consolation prize if we can't get Wilson/Fields/Lance.

And yet they don't play the same on the field overall. Again Joe Flacco had better numbers...quit trying to make him something he's not. It's okay he's not very athletic and doesn't really make plays out of structure. It's not his game. He's not a perfect prospect.

He's not a perfect prospect. He doesn't play like Baker but he obviously is athletic/mobile enough as a Baker.

Not a statue as your constant narrative suggested.

Your dislike for McCorkle (which everytime you use that makes you sound like a class clown trying to get the cool kids to laugh) is beyond comical at this point.

Well 4.8 will allow Mac Stidham to beat most edge rushers on a boot action play-pass. its better than 5.0 40 in my book.
Finished with the Pro Day, was as expected, only two outs to the sideline, both from middle of the field, took a little while to get there.

I don't think the arm strength looked better than in season, deep ball looked great though.

Footwork from Center looked really good considering he never did it in a game. Throws on the run better than expected as well.

Solid day.

Nice.

Jones is deceptively athletic. You can see that on tape. So, not surprised with these numbers.

Overall, I like what I saw from him today. Nothing changed.

Can he throw outside the hash marks?
