Nah I'm just stating how I feel about both prospects...I simply don't see Jones being a top 10 QB in the league and given my reasons.

everyone hypes up the prospect they like in here to some pt...you've done it with Solly and Ruggs (who I liked as well).

I did it with buck/Bosa Devante Parker/OBJ in pervious drafts too.

I get your stance but you have to admit you've been in here pooping on McCorkle often lol.

Mac isn't sexy and I get you want the potential of having an elite QB. Certainly guys like Fields/Lance if they hit their ceiling would be special and hella fun to watch in our offense.

In a sense I agree with you which is why I'd prefer Kyle would draft Fields or Lance over Jones. I'm just saying I'd have no issue with Jones being our pick.

His arm may not be special but he can make any NFL throw. He may not be able to make those crazy ass plays some of these other guys can do but we may not need that to win.

As long as we improve the QB position to where teams can't defend us a certain way...sign me up.

That would be a shocker. My guess if he does go top 10 it will be at 9 with Denver trading down.

With the restructure to Ryan, I think Atlanta won't be taking a QB. I think they would prefer to trade down but if they sit tight and have to make a pick I think it will be either Chase or Pitts.

Yeah they got over $40M in dead money if they move Ryan in 2022.

I'm not on board with being "okay" with the pick at QB end of the day...people have their preferences and I get that.

I want the high end talent at QB if I'm using a top end 1st rd pick. I just don't see Jones being a top 10 QB in the league end of the day.

is what it is, I'm at the point where we're I don't think they're drafting a QB and kinda tired debating it at this point

Eh! Yea I know that's been mentioned before but I believe they still take a QB. With Ryan obviously the QB for 2021.

His contract isn't that hard to get out from under after 2021 IMO.

Just my gut feeling. (My gut has been wrong all off season so there is that)

I think they will too. But I think it will be either Fields or Lance who will need time to develop while they keep Ryan. I believe Jones will be an NFL starter before either. Likely in NE
