Just going on the record here and saying I'm down for Mac Jones at the #3. I'm assuming the Jets take Wilson and the front office is cool with it- so am I. Throw that #1 49ers Jersey on the Mac Daddy and lets get to work, he's got a starting job to take....Atlanta you're on the clock!

They are going to pick whoever they think is the best fit for Shanahan's system. Lance, Fields, Jones, Wilson. People are going to grade the selection based on their couch potato analysis (that includes me, too).

At the end of the day, it's up to Lynch and Shanahan to make the decision and ensure its a clear upgrade to Jimmy G.

Another scenario I had in mind is that they trade Garoppolo and then trade for Minshew and have him be the bridge QB for a year while drafting whomever. Save a ton of money at QB right away.

Yes. We don't need a superstar, we are a contender with a Garappolo who can stay vertical. If either Minshew or Jones turns out to be more, its off to the races with all the money available. Interesting risk-reward.

The 2 guys that fit Shanahan's system the best are Zach Wilson and Mac Jones. Today the 49ers guaranteed that they'll get one of them. If Shanny hits us with a curveball and selects Fields or Lance, I'm still going to give him my full support because it means he's continuing to evolve as an offensive mastermind. This team has earned our trust.

Starting to feel like Ruggs, Jeudy, and Lamb all over again. Everyone is enamored by the top names, but in reality they had their own rankings and chose someone unexpected ie Aiyuk. I'm now personally prepared for the possibility of hearing Jones' name just as much as Field or Lance.

That would make the most sense, knowing what type of player Kyle wants in the QB position.

I thought I had love for Trey Lance but I understand that there's a huge difference between waiting and taking a chance at 12, and trading three 1's & a 3rd.
