Deep ball after deep ball, perfectly in stride. I would be plenty happy with Jones in a Niners uniform.

Yeah, its amazing that Smith can throw and catch passes at the same time.

I mean it's easy when you got that WR and OL.

Side note what the hell happened to LSU this yr?

He's getting the ball to his playmakers, on time and on target, short, intermediate and deep. He could definitely do damage in Shanahan's offense.

Exactly! Wilson got the because he threw it 65 yards behind and on wrong side of his WR

I know real hard to throw to open Smith all game lol

No one can guard him. Been like that all yr...no need to pretend like it's not happening.

Pretty sure we had a debate just before the draft with you claiming how inferior the Bama WR's following Ruggs and Jeudy would be.

Now there's no Tua, no Jeudy, no Ruggs, no Wills, no Waddle and Jones has the offense running at a higher level than they did last season. Its gotta be all Smith right?

Anyone check the air yards on those throws? We all know if they're high then it's the QB who gets the credit. If they're low all receivers
Jones deep ball placement has been outstanding.

Pretty sure you're wrong about that. I've been a fan of Smith and Waddle since last yr...go to the Jeudy/Ruggs thread and you'd see.

That OL has two 5 star and top 5 national recruits playing tackle. Their center is one of the best in the NCAA right now as well.

Starting to believe. LSU is trash and Jones has a day and a half to throw. But doesn't miss his throws. Less talent than Tua had as well.

Maybe? But you aren't going to learn much watching Texas State game film.

Sure you are. He's still gotta make the throws.

I wouldn't complain. The mechanics are good. He's going through all his progressions and like you said he's hitting his targets in stride.

Jones has a top end deep ball. No doubt about that...be nice to see that in SF.
