No, not with Kyle going, he never goes, it's a very big deal.

The only way I think this isn't for Mac is if Kyle and Lynch/Peters disagree with the selection, (and you'd question why they made the trade) so want to get on board together.

let's say Mac is actually highly coveted among GMs and we traded up because we know other teams were targeting him.

Would Peter king call it so early and risk having Jets take him or a team jumping us to Jets slot for him ? He'd be screwing the niners over. Unless this is simply his guess that isn't based off something he was directly told.

I'm kind of in shock, but I probably shouldn't be. We've been talking about it for months that we knew Kyle would love this guy. I guess I never anticipated the love would be trade-away-multiple first-round-picks-up-to-3rd-overall deep.

Was Simms really in the war room? Don't recall that all.

Simms has been somewhat right, but mostly that's because he knows KS. If KS is telling him our picks, there's no way that Simms would break his trust that badly. Maybe he got away with in 2018, but he wouldn't tell him s**t after that if he broke that trust.

He's just gotten "lucky" because he knows KS so well, they are very good friends. But I highly doubt that KS is allowing Sims to leak our draft picks before the draft. Makes no sense.

Just the thought of it ruins my day cause I know it's something they would do. We will be a laughingstock and deserve it until he proves worthy
