You right now:

There's still over three weeks left until the draft At this point any of these QB's are still in play, it just depends on what the scouts and coaching staff are prioritizing but as I said in the thread in NT, I'm cool with whoever the 49ers pick. Its not my job on the line, its theirs. If they hit a homerun and grab a franchise QB, then it won't matter one damn bit how anyone felt about it. In the end that is all I'm hoping for, get a QB that can be great.

How can you be cool with using 3 1st rd picks on Mac Jones...yes it's their job on the line but guess what they could be fire before they even get another 1st rd pick to use. Fans are stuck with the leftover b******t.

We're not all QB gurus but most of us aren't stupid either. We watch the games and there's some freaking common sense that goes into it. He's just not on the same level. Throw him on Iowa and no one is talking about him. He's a early day 3 pick.

I've been a fan of this team for over 30 yrs they have never done anything like this to get a QB. It's literally one of the biggest picks this franchise has ever made....the fact that f**king McCorkle is even in the conversation is rules for someone getting canned imo.

we will see, I should be pumped they finally made a move...now it might come down as one of the worst reaches in football history

C'mon. Mac had one of them best statistical seasons in college football history. He has the best footwork and pocket awareness out of anyone in the draft. Throws a great deepball. Reads the defense incredibaly well. I don't get how that is one of them worst reaches. Lance now that is a reach. I feel like if peyton manning was in this draft you would hate the pick because he wasn't a running QB.

He really doesn't.

What's also interesting is to say all that and bring in the opposite to be the QB of your team, not once but twice in Cam Newton lol

Right lol...it's funny I brought up protection calls about Jimmy and Jonny in here told me Kyle sets all the protection calls not the QB (did it with Matt Ryan as well).

Also I would imagine he would know the offense inside and out...he was basically Bama's Nick Mullens for 2 yrs lol.

Indeed that's impressive. Some people have pointed out Kyle wants an extension of himself on the field.

I mean a part of that was Devonte Smith. Didn't it even come out of Jones mouth that his read was Smith and then everything else? You watch a highlight tape of Jones and come away impressed with Smith lol

Was it Alabama the team?
Was it Mack the QB?
Was it the system?
Was it Sarkisian?

you also need to ask why Mack couldn't beat out Tua.. ..

how you go check out Graham Harrell and Colt Brennan. They turned into stars lol... If AJ McCarron had as many passing attempts as Jones got he would have put up the same stats.

no one in college had more yards from open WRs then Jones (per PFF) he had 600 more yards than anyone else from screens.

tua had 4,000 yards on only 355 passing attempts the yr before he got hurt. He had more TDs than Jones as well that season.

Stop quoting PFF if you want to be taken seriously.

Mac Jones is a known top 15 pick who's climbing fast on draft boards. Graham Harrell went undrafted and played in Canada to start his career and Colt Brennan played a cupcake schedule much like Zack Wilson which got him drafted in the 6th round.

Mac Jones won the National Championship playing in the SEC and he dominated everyone he's faced last year just like last years #1 overall pick Joe Burrow who also came out of no where with a loaded roster and set a bunch of Div 1 records that were matched or taken over by Mac Jones.

100%. It really does Stand out all over his tape. Not just the decision making , and the quick processing but the pocket awareness. It is truly amazing tape that this guy put out this past season.

I've been informed that you can teach that to pretty much any quarterback and its simply a matter of repetition and coaching.

He's clearly been going back and forth.

They would never bench Tua for anyone. Sometimes things just click for players at certain points in there
Career as well. Brady and Brees were not always great. At some point things just came together. When I watch mac I see a guy where everything has clicked for him.

Your post made me want to take a look at his college stats. They were *insane.* I know its Alabama, and the whole senior team is going to be drafted in the first round, but those stats are insane. Now gotta Google and watch some Alabama games. Crap.
