It's funny you bring that up because one of the talking points in 2017 was that Mahomes would have a difficult time commanding an NFL huddle because of his voice and demeanor.

dude, NY, you need to listen to Middlekauff. Dude is right up your alley. He was on a rant about how the 49ers cannot draft Mac Jones under any circumstances, and that they already put their balls on the table, so they need to take a big swing, draft the elite traits and coach him up.

For the ones saying Jones would be there at 12, I don't think he would be. Eagles were trying to trade up to 3. So even if the Falcons don't take a QB, that would leave the 5th QB taken in the draft to the Broncos at 9. But I think they could have traded up to 7 and save one of the 1st RD picks they traded if they want Jones.
