It's so sad. Really wish there could be a way to slap Lynch and Shanahan out of this nonsense or sabotage Mac Jones but there really isn't. Get ready to become the NFC Texans and watch Trent Williams and others ask for trades or releases.

Can he be fired before the draft? A great coach can be flexible in thinking. This guy can't think outside of any box. Fields would be so much more dynamic. Amazing to watch an NFL brain trust putting ropes around their own necks. Amazing incompetence

- Shock and denial. This is a state of disbelief and numbed feelings.
- Pain and guilt. You may feel that the loss is unbearable and that you're making other people's lives harder because of your feelings and needs.
- Anger and bargaining. You may lash out, telling God or a higher power that you'll do anything they ask if they'll only grant you relief from these feelings.
- Depression. This may be a period of isolation and loneliness during which you process and reflect on the loss.
- The upward turn. At this point, the stages of grief like anger and pain have died down, and you're left in a more calm and relaxed state.
- Reconstruction and working through. You can begin to put pieces of your life back together and carry forward.
- Acceptance and hope. This is a very gradual acceptance of the new way of life and a feeling of possibility in the future.

This.
100% Manning is who I'm looking at. Brady is impossible, 6th rounder with no lost draft capital.

😆😆. Yep, spending 2 future 1st rounders on Mac Cousinoppolo would be hilarious if it were another team but be ready.

But I think they could have traded up to 7 and save one of the 1st RD picks they traded if they want Jones.
Jones has been drawing too much interest. After his pro day his 40 time let the league know he wasn't a statue with cement shoes
I think CAR would draft Jones without hesitation
I think NE would trade up and grab him if they could find a partner
There are even rumors ATL would take him and smoothly transition to Matt Ryan 2.0
As much as it sucks to burn this much draft capital it had to happen to get our pick rather than the leftovers

I mean it's not like football is relevant for daily life. If they decide to f**k off the franchise and get fired, so be it. It won't really affect that much.

Maybe Atlanta wants to trade up one spot to draft this clown? That'd be wonderful lmao

First of all I don't know how anybody can say Mac Jones is the pick when the draft is only a month away. Does anybody in their right mind really think the niners mortgaged their farm for Mac Jones? Really? I don't care what chris Simms says. I don't care what michael silver says. I don't care what maiocco says. The only thing I care about is what shanahan and lynch have said. I know for a fact that they would not mortgage the future for a quarterback like Mac Jones. Does anybody really think they're that stupid.

For what its worth, Kyle's been to two super bowls with his Matt/cousins kind of QB. Some hall of fame coaches didn't even get to a super bowl till almost a decade has passed in their careers.
49ers will be fine with Mac as long as Kyle is the coach.
How do you know that the 49ers will be fine with Mac as long as Kyle is the coach? You have no idea how good or bad Mac will be. None of us do. Being fine doesn't win Super Bowls.
Kyle's built a super bowl team in three years, so I think we'll be fine with or without Deshawn Watson or Lance/Fields. All Kyle needs is a QB that works with his system. Personally, I prefer Fields. I like Mac too, but the fact that he's not as athletic as I'd like him to be is a big negative for me.
Not much I can do as a fan if he picks Mac. As others have said, there's going to be a lot of weeping and snot being thrown around the Webzone for the next three weeks. Oh well. Life goes on.
