I mean you got big Ben who has been a lard ass all his career and he's a future hall of famer. Great qbs come in all shapes and sizes. Maybe I'm trying to convince myself for the possibility of mac but I'm also not trying to completely trash on the guy before he makes it to the league. I mean I f**king hate herbert and Allen and they're looking like franchise qbs for the next 15 years.

Dude looks like this:

People talk about him like he looks like this:

I've seen the picture of him with his shirt off. He might be working hard now that the draft is approaching, but will he still be in shape when training camp comes around?

Now that football is his full-time job that pays him millions of dollars and he's going to be the face of a franchise, my guess is he'll continue being a great leader and teammate and not show up to camp out of shape.
Just smoked a whole blunt watching his highlights. Here's my analysis....next Tom Brady!

I'll be happy if we get this dude.

Watched the press conference, the only time Shanahan was fidgety and nervous was when he asked about Mac Jones. He was very calm about answering questions about Fields and didnt seem excited.

From reaction to Jimmy G questions, he is going to be traded.

The most important I caught was how Kyle said twice how they now have a month think about the top 3 -5 guys.

What???

I'm not buying it. They know something is going down. They know exactly who they want.

Older? The picture is from late October. Its not old.

And getting in shape doesn't mean anything if you do 8t so that you get drafted. I want to know what's going to get you in the weight room during the rest of the time and why the hell yoi weren't in it before.

It's a huge red flag. Don't excuse it. He wants to be a pro athlete, so why is he ok with having a below average body?

Man, what Chris Simms says here at 39:00 is everything I need to hear.

It's not like he was playing his college ball at Greendale Community College. He was at playing at Alabama, arguably the highest profile football school in the country. If he can't dedicate himself fully while there, I don't know if it'll be much different in the pros.

The Jimmy stuff is all about not giving away leverage in trade negotiations. If Mac Jones is the pick, I'm not even sure if Jimmy would beat him out for the starting job, meaning you might end up splitting the locker room if Mac is slightly outplaying him. This isn't Lance or Fields, where Jimmy could be a bridge QB for a year and there is no real threat for him to lose his job. What you don't do is sink Jimmy's value by selecting Jones and then Mac takes his job and you're now forced to trade Jimmy for peanuts or waive him. I'm sure he's gone on draft night if Mac is the pick. That carry over cap space going into the 2022 season would be huge in keeping Warner and making other moves.

I doubt Kyle will be as concerned with this as some of you.

You forget the part about being a top notch student athlete, which takes massive dedication. That part is now removed from his life and he can fully focus on just football and everything associated with football, like staying in good shape.

Kyle wasn't concerned about the red flags with Reuben Foster either. Maybe he should have been.

The DUIs, the work ethic concerns... he could easily end up being Foster 2.0. And we know from experience that if he does have character concerns that the Alabama coaches won't be honest about that.
