He doesn't want a QB at all, he wants to be the QB or at least be as close to it as possible. Any deviation from his play is unacceptable no matter what. Just more fuel for the fire that is the growing consensus that Shanahan would rather lose with a Mac Jones type as his QB than win with a more dynamic QB.
They say that, but I don't buy it.
Kyle has been around a long time, since he was a little kid. The QB that he's been around who are head and shoulders above the rest running his dads offense was John Elway, who was allowed to make whatever adjustments they needed.
Kyle has always used QBs that he got on a discount, besides RG3 who he didn't pick and didn't really get much time with. This is the first time he gets to make a QB pick that could be elite. I think he's looking for his own Elway.

Yes and made legit amazing throws that Mac Jones is just not capable of making. So he makes the same over throws qbs misses AND can't make the special throws that are needed.
