So, any improvement in Mac's workout?

Idk if it's hate or not - but that's not the best pro day performance. Mac is labeled as most pro ready and most prepared. He should be acing the f**k out of these simulated workouts.

Right. Does it get any easier than a pro day???
LOL at people trying to read Kyle's thoughts based on a blank stare. Jesus, people...

No not at all.

I really like Jones as a prospect but with Shanahan being there at his pro day rather than OSU's just screams smokescreen to me. The game of chess ain't over until draft day.

The plane that flew them to Alabama is scheduled to take off in an hour from now and fly to Columbus lol.

They aren't even sticking around to say hi after Jones finishes.
NY putting out random people's tweets to prove a point is too weak bro..

you don't have to read anyones thoughts after watching a SECOND mediocre pro day in shorts from a supposed "top pick"

I'm curious NC, out of Fields/Lance/Jones which is your preferred pick?

Each day I've guesstimated each one. I've bowed out on emotion on this one and I'm just going to trust Kyle on this one. No conviction. I fully get the stance on each as I've gone through it too.

Just watch for smoke and read the tea leaves and enjoy the mental gymnastics, emotions and meltdowns no matter who it is.

Who you got? Prefer?

You know I'm on the same boat. It's not clear cut for me like Lawrence/Wilson. Each has it's strengths and weaknesses, but I'll trust Kyle on the pick. My preference would probably be Fields.

This whole thread is becoming toxic as hell. What's new though? Every year at least 1 or 2 prospect threads just get bombarded with garbage by members who hate a prospect that might be playing for us soon.

Then one would then watch the film.

This pass, which is now my default gif when people say he can't make highly difficult throws, shows that he can fit the ball into extremely tight windows.

In what world is that pass not going to be catchable regardless of how close the DB is covering him? There are two players there in that zone. The pass wouldn't have been more accurate if he ran over there and handed it to him.

Just because he didn't have to do it as much doesn't mean he can't.

Moreover, sometimes QBs miss tight window throws because they should have thrown it elsewhere. For example:

This pass should have gone to the guy running the drag. That guy would still be running.

The point is not to slam Lance here. The point is that sometimes a pass is into a tight window because the QB errs.

lol Jones' WR had his man beat with like two yards of space...oh yes cherry pick a bad throw of Lance like that's all he does.

I can throw bad throw clips from Jones and stupid throws from Lance all the same.

That wasn't man coverage. That was zone, and he was bracketed. How in the world do you not see that? And if you're seriously suggesting that wasn't a dime into a tiny bucket, I'm seriously questioning either your objectivity or your football acumen.

The throw by Lance was NOT bad, not really. It was that he ignored the wide open guy and threw where he shouldn't have. You can see it as soon as the play goes: see the top safety? See what he does? Runs to the QB's right side of the field and then gets depth. Immediately Lance should have moved through the progression. Why didn't he? Is it vision? Probably. Is it big play greed? Maybe.

But the throw by Lance? Not much wrong with the throw. A bit under thrown maybe. That's a two on one in favor of the defense. Not many places to put it. If you're gonna take the chance, a nice tear drop makes sense. Let the WR go Moss.

He just shouldn't have went where he went with it.

He did fine. Some people just grade him on a much higher curve than other quarterbacks. Both Wilson and Lance missed several throws in their workouts but that's acceptable since they fit the QB mold of what some are looking for so it's not an issue.

I ´m not a fan of this "let´s make fun of a kid having an important day for his carreer." thing with Mac Jones but I would say this.
I had way more fun watching Wilson or Lance.
That doesn´t mean s**t. It ´s a pro day. But still.
