I still think Chris Jones was the MVP. You'll never hear me say Mahomes was the MVP.
If Jones doesn't keep wrecking the pocket in the 4th quarter, I think the 49ers win that game going away.

WILSON - FIELDS - LANCE - JONES... I think it would have been better had we offer all those 1st rounders to Green Bay for Rogers..

Fields has that strait line speed but he's not an elusive runner like Lamar.
Doesn't need to be. I don't want any QB constantly running if you're going to invest this much into them and then later give them a massive contract.
If its Fields, I want him doing the vast majority of his damage with his arm while still offering the threat to take off and run when the defense gets caught napping but I don't want him carrying it 100+ times a season like Lamar or Murray.

It´s like a dream for Florio. After weeks of pushing the narrative Kyle only wants Cousins, now he has Simms telling him it´s a done deal for Mac.

No doubt about that in my mind.
Mac Jones says he's good at following directions. No, scratch that. He says it's what distinguishes him from the other quarterbacks in the draft.
"What separates me is my preparation and my ability to take what I learn from the coaches' meetings and my meetings and then apply it to the field," the Alabama quarterback said during a Monday video news conference. "I'm going to do exactly what the coach tells me to do. I'm going to play within the framework of the offense."
Those phrases — "I'm going to do exactly what the coach tells me to do" and "I'm going to play within the framework of the offense" — don't exactly grab headlines. They're boring sentences. But they also might be music to the ears of someone like Kyle Shanahan, whom many see as the true star of the 49ers offense (and who probably wouldn't disagree with that assessment) and who is seeking someone who can operate his system to its full extent.

Mac f**king knows that's music to Kyle's ears, it's why he said that lmao.
He seemed quite familiar with what the 49ers run and said he's met with them at the Senior Bowl and over Zoom.

He's already been in contact with them a couple of times. I'd be shocked if the same wasn't true for Fields and Lance.
