My Take....Kyle is the system...not the QB.

Incorrect, Kyle will adapt his system to any QB.

Wait...

Yes, he will, if he must, like he did with RGIII. He's a practical man. But he Really doesn't want to, like why he got pushed out of Wash and left Cle. He's a head coach now, so he gets to do it his way.
Say Hello to Mac.

That's definitely what my brain is telling me too. Not sure about my heart.

Agree, unfortunately.

Even though Klatt himself has said that he's seen Fields do it. But yeah, I wanna see McCorkle hit bombs where he doesn't have the two best wideouts in the entire NCAA to just wing it.

You know everybody hated CJ Beathard and couldnt understand what Kyle saw in him. I read an article some years back and Kyle loved the way CJ stayed in the pocket. That was one of the main reason Kyle drafted him, for his toughness and willingness to let the play develop even if it means you are going to get hit in the mouth. Once a QB starts breaking out of the pocket he is limiting his options down the field. I dont think Kyle has any interest in that from his players. He is very much a system coach.

Its just information....

Right like this

But he hit his fair share yesterday including on the move. He just missed his fair share as well.

The funny thing is that Beathard is actually pretty athletic and mobile.

He was but his drops were some of the slowest I ever seen. Macs looks slow as hell too

Dude you're driving me nuts lol.

Yes PA is all about timing AND being able to all the run affectively. Jones overall didn't have a bunch of quick timing/rhythm passing attempts. Especially off of PA. It's pure projection at this point, same thing with boots and boots off of PA.

Dude I feel like you need a tutorial on what a bootleg is here...

we most certainly use this and concepts off it...it's another reason why kyle has the type of OL he does.

you can go watch the breakdown video THL posted and see a designed rollout and he just wasn't athletic enough to run if correctly. His read wasn't there and he couldn't "be an athlete" enough to hit a wide open WR downfield. It's like those bombs from fields/Wilson at the end of their pro days. PA/rollout throwing off structure...that's god given ability.

So only Jimmy, Schaub, Cousins, and Ryan can run Kyle's boots? You act like Jones is a 43 year old QB.

CJ did everything slowly including processing the play.

If you watch any of Mac's tape, you can see he throws with anticipation and dissects the defense quickly.

Id just like to add Fields avg time to pass was 3.1 seconds. Thats not happening in the NFL...

Yikes

People do realize that Waddle missed most of the season right? Jones was working with substantially less talent than Tua and still managed to have a better year.
