If by coming back you mean hobbling around on one good leg to catch two passes in the National Championship Game then I guess he came back.

LOL. It's a PA designed around timing. You're not sprinting to do it. By the time you plant, a full 2 seconds has already gone by so you better hope that primary is open by then because you're getting hit at 2.5 even after completing it here.
But he usually is because the foundation is actually the running game and pre snap motion setting up the PA pass. It allows the QB to feed off PA for big passing plays. That's the design.
I already said PA is a staple here. But it's not the foundation and the bootleg is only a play they run roughly 35 times a year. It's a play call.
That said, taking snaps from C is one thing every college QB coming here will have to start getting comfortable with esp. those coming from a spread offense. Like your back to the defense, those are taught skills through repetition in a WCO.
Dude you're driving me nuts lol.
Yes PA is all about timing AND being able to all the run affectively. Jones overall didn't have a bunch of quick timing/rhythm passing attempts. Especially off of PA. It's pure projection at this point, same thing with boots and boots off of PA.
Dude I feel like you need a tutorial on what a bootleg is here...
we most certainly use this and concepts off it...it's another reason why kyle has the type of OL he does.
you can go watch the breakdown video THL posted and see a designed rollout and he just wasn't athletic enough to run if correctly. His read wasn't there and he couldn't "be an athlete" enough to hit a wide open WR downfield. It's like those bombs from fields/Wilson at the end of their pro days. PA/rollout throwing off structure...that's god given ability.

Im not sure that's the pick at all. Lot of media saying it, but not what I heard.

You can say that you don't like the guy but I don't buy the argument that he doesn't have enough arm to make every throw in this offense.
