Mac Jones-QB-Jaguars

He will never play with this much talent again but he is really good. Extremely composed, smart, great accuracy and release, and he's not quick/fast/mobile, but he is top of the charts at climbing and manipulating the pocket. He'd fit nice in Kyle's offense.

Yes, he is not quick/fast/mobile. That is a red flag already. Under NFL pressure, I'm not sure how good he would really be. I'm not sold yet.

But is he is accurate I will give him that.
Dude isn't flashy but impressive ball placement.

He's not going top 10...so figure that in to your assessment. Expectations are considerably lower, and limitations are considerably higher.

I wouldn't mind him. Look at herbert. Everyone was going crazy about burrow. Herbert had a better rookie season. I think.

Most people were focused on burrow last year, just like lawrence and Wilson this year. The highest rated prospect didn't necessarily mean best nfl career.
The kid processes quickly and hangs in the pocket to make the throws. Trask was solid today too.

Mac some good throws today, but nothing special since most of the players were open... it's almost like Mullen's performance against the Raiders in his 1st ever start.. this game, Mac J didn't do anything spectacular..

I still say, late 1st...

What spot did the Patriots draft Grappy??

He'll actually play with better talent, but the competition will be the same level or even better since he may go early to a struggling team. I do think he will be a good QB.

Yup....he would play with better talent on just about any NFL team, except the competition will also be better than anything he's ever faced.

I'm still meh on the guy however.

Has there ever been a quarterback in the history of college football for whom this was not true?

Probably never. Dude could (he probably won't) end up on the Jets, and they are more talented than Alabama. He could also face a current Jets squad, and they'd be better than anything he's faced. It's just simply another level.

The talent is relative. Yes the Jets have more talent than Alabama but not relative to their competition. Alabama dominates. The Jets barely compete.
You guys are probably right, and every teams offense is obviously better and more matured than Bama, but on pure talent, idk:
2 1st round receivers
1-2nd round running back
Billingsley is an intriguing talent at TE
DickersonNeal Leatherwood are all top 3 round picks
More specifically, what does the Jets offensive depth chart look like against Bama?
Becton may be the only one you take long term over the Bama guys.
